Liability

 

Guest’s liability for their account is not waived and guests agree to be held personally liable in the event that any indicated person, group, company or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred when staying at the Ferry House Inn.

 

Smoking Policy

 

The Ferry House Inn operates a no smoking policy throughout the public house and in any rooms that form part of the bed & breakfast. Guests wishing to smoke may do so out side the premises where ashtrays are provided, areas such as the garden adjacent to the public house.

 

Any guest caught smoking inside the building will be asked to leave immediately without refund, we also reserve the right to further charge for the cleaning of the room and loss of business 24 hours after the guest has departed in order to clear the room of smoke before re-letting to a non smoking guest

 

Inapropriate Behaviour

 

It is our policy that all our guests have a pleasant stay at the Ferry House Inn and anyone deemed by the proprietors to be behaving inappropriately depending on the severity will be asked to leave without a refund.

 

Removal of Property

 

We reserve the right to charge the guest the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises without consent. The charge will be for the full amount of the item plus any carriage charges.

 

Tampering with fire detection systems or fire fighting equipment

 

We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered with any fire detection systems or equipment within the property including smoke detectors, heat sensors break glass points and fire extinguisher. Guests found to have tampered with any of the above points will be charged for any damage and asked to leave without refund.

 

Payment Terms

 

We do not accept American express. Cash is acceptable; payment is due on checking into the bed and breakfast, when booking direct with the Ferry House Inn a debit or credit card number must be given, if no card number is given then a deposit will be required of 20% of the total booking.

 

Cancelletion Policy

 

Cancellation policy for accommodation is 48hrs prior to 2pm on day of arrival. Any cancellations outside of this time will be charged in full for the first night accommodation, you will also be charged in full for all nights booked if check out is before the day of departure.

  

The Ferry House Inn reserves the right to charge the guests credit/debit card in the guest’s absence.

 

Check In/Out Times

Check in is 2pm and check out is 10am unless prior arrangements have been made with the Ferry House Inn.

 

Nothing in these terms and conditions should limit or restrict the guest’s legal rights as a consumer. Advice concerning such rights may be obtained from the Citizens Advice Bureau.
